Strong ‘wardrobe to wallet’ marketplace trading drives record half-year performance for Evri

Evri, the UK’s leading parcel delivery company, today announced record half-year results reporting a 12% increase in parcel volumes and a strong rise in profit, as buoyant online marketplace trading and investment in its operations boosted retail sales.

Parcel volumes rose by 47m to 425m with profit (adjusted EBITDA*) rising 22% to £209m for the 26 weeks ended 30 August 2025.

The company’s continued investment in infrastructure, technology, and customer experience has supported its growth trajectory, with new business wins across key sectors and sustained demand from existing clients. Revenue also increased by 12% to £973m over the period, partly driven by marketplaces and pre-loved sites, as customers continue to make money from their own and others’ wardrobes.

Marketplaces have become a ”super retail channel” driven by consumer demand for second-hand bargains and an appetite for households to cash in on unwanted items.

In the half year, Evri also won significant new business from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with volumes up 56% and retained several of its largest clients.

Operational performance and on-time delivery rates remained strong with 5,000 couriers recruited during the summer months with volumes exceeding 18m during many weeks and the August Bank holiday being Evri’s busiest ever on record.

Evri’s brand momentum has also been recognised externally, with its improvements recognised today (19 November) by Citizens Advice in its annual parcels league table which highlighted Evri as the only parcel carrier to have a positive upward trajectory since the league table began in 2021. Evri, which ranks in joint third place alongside DPD, showed meaningful progress in customer service compared to the previous year, and is also one of only two parcel firms to have improved their customer service score over the last three years. Evri has also been named among the Top 10 Most Improved Brands in the UK by YouGov’s Brand Index, reflecting rising consumer trust and satisfaction.

These financial results reflect the strength of our strategy and the dedication of our colleagues and couriers. We’re delivering more parcels than ever, expanding our client base, and improving profitability – all while continuing to invest in the future of delivery. The merger with DHL eCommerce UK marks a major milestone, enabling us to offer even greater reach. While receiving independent recognition from Citizens Advice and YouGov for how we are transforming our customer experience is significant and a testament to our hard work. Evri’s performance sets a strong foundation for the second half of the year as it prepares for the key peak trading period. We have recruited 9,000 extra couriers and are investing over £30m to boost our operations and service.

Martijn de Lange, CEO at Evri

The results come after Evri completed its merger with DHL eCommerce UK in October 2025, further strengthening its network capacity and service offering. The enlarged Evri Group will combine two highly complementary businesses – delivering over 1 billion parcels and 1 billion business letters annually – to create a one-stop solution for domestic and international parcel logistics.

Next year, DHL eCommerce UK will be rebranded to Evri Premium – a Network of DHL, and it will remain a separate network offering fast, time-sensitive deliveries with enhanced shipping security protection for high-value and large items.

In May 2025, Evri completed its first-ever acquisition of Coll-8, one of Ireland’s leading independent customs clearance and logistics specialists, to drive accelerated deliveries and returns for customers in the Republic of Ireland. Evri is also investing more than £50 million to launch an owned, in-house network of 10,000 smart lockers as part of its network expansion to support its continued growth.
