Evri successfully launches Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

In April 2025, Evri launched Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat for over 3,800 colleagues, making the AI chatbot accessible to all with a Microsoft E5 Licence. We have since focused on guiding the use of this tool and encouraging all colleagues to take full advantage of it.
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat Roadshows. Over the past six weeks, we conducted more than 15 engaging sessions to showcase the powerful capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.
These sessions provided valuable insights into how Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat can enhance productivity at Evri, streamline workflows, and foster greater collaboration across all teams. The enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from attendees have been very encouraging.
Key focus areas:
- Enhanced productivity: Learning how to aid routine tasks, such as meeting note write-ups, allows focus on high-value activities.
- Streamlined workflows: Discovering ways to integrate Copilot 365 seamlessly into existing processes.
- Improved collaboration: Utilising tools that facilitate better communication and teamwork, including summarising information.
- Data-driven insights: Leveraging Copilot 365's analytical capabilities to make informed decisions.
- Customisation: Tailoring Copilot 365 features to meet specific team needs and preferences.
With the launch of AI chat tools, it is vital for Evri to focus on data security. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat is the approved AI Chat tool within our business, and we have communicated the high level of security protection it provides.

Security and data protection highlights:
- Enterprise data protection (EDP): Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat offers enterprise data protection for prompts and responses at no extra cost, including controls and commitments under the Data Protection Addendum (DPA) and Product Terms, with Microsoft acting as a data processor.
- Data privacy: Prompts, responses, and data accessed through Microsoft Graph are not used to train foundation large language models (LLMs), ensuring proprietary organisational data remains secure and private.
- Compliance: Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat complies with existing privacy, security, and compliance commitments, including GDPR and the EU Data Boundary.
- Secure web queries: Web search queries used by Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to improve response quality are sent via a secure connection to the Bing search service, anonymised and without user or tenant identifiers.
- Data protection and auditing: Features like Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, encryption, and SharePoint oversharing controls protect data and audit usage.
These measures ensure that Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat maintains high standards of security and privacy, helping us at Evri to use AI-powered tools confidently.
As we move forward, we encourage all colleagues to leverage the tools and techniques demonstrated during the roadshows. By integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat into daily operations, we can achieve new levels of efficiency and innovation.
Next, we will engage a select group of colleagues from various areas of the business to form a working group focused on the use and communication of this tool's offerings. In upcoming sessions, we will delve into the "agent" capabilities and explore the AI assistance it can provide. We are excited to utilise Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and look forward to the innovations it will bring.
