Evri boosts convenience with major new locker partnerships at Tesco and Motor Fuel Group

- Evri announces new trial at selected Tesco stores, and 500 locations at Motor Fuel Group forecourts
- New research from Evri reveals almost all Brits say where their parcel is delivered matters, and more than three quarters would use a parcel locker
- Part of Evri’s long-term commitment to double its ParcelShop and locker network by 2030
Evri Group, the UK’s premier parcel delivery company, has today announced the launch of a new trial of its owned locker network in partnership with one of the UK’s leading grocery retailers, Tesco. Plus, a new nationwide partnership with Motor Fuel Group, the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, to launch 500 new locker locations at petrol stations across the UK.
The partnerships will significantly expand the company’s reach to boost convenience, choice and control for millions of customers ahead of Mother’s Day. This comes as new consumer research from Evri highlights the nation’s growing reliance for last-minute occasions, and whilst more than 99% of parcels arrive on time, Evri is encouraging customers to choose alternative delivery options if they’re not going to be home:
- Nearly half of Brits (48%) say they worry that gifts ordered online for occasions like Mother’s Day won’t arrive on time, highlighting growing delivery anxiety around special events.
- Around one in five Brits (19%) have had to rearrange a delivery because they weren’t home, two in five (42%) don’t have, or don’t want to use a safe place
- More than three quarters of Brits (78%) say they would use a parcel locker, highlighting strong demand for alternative delivery options.
- Almost all Brits (95%) say where their parcel is delivered is important to them.
At a time of year when millions are sending and receiving sentimental gifts – and with Mother’s Day falling just two days after Friday 13th - Evri is encouraging customers who won’t be at home, not to leave it to luck on Friday 13th and avoid delivery drama by considering delivery options to make sure those important gifts arrive safely and on time:
- Deliver directly to a secure locker – available 24/7 and deal if you won’t be home
- Use real-time diversions to reroute an out-for-delivery parcel
- Nominate a safe place such as a shed, porch or garage
- Add accessibility preferences such as requesting more time to get to the door
Customers using the lockers will have access to Evri’s pick-up and drop-off services, providing a quick, contact-free method for sending and receiving parcels, with ‘print-at-locker’ functionality, alongside fast and seamless QR code scanning.
With a current network of more than 11,000 ParcelShops and lockers, including ParcelShop services at Post Office branches and Asda stores, this follows a previous announcement by the UK’s premier parcel delivery company of its £50m investment to more than double this number by 2030.
Evri, which delivers over 900 million parcels a year, has partnered with smart tech company Bloq.it, on the development of these new lockers, with an initial commissioning of at least 1,000. Unlike the parcel firm’s existing shared locker network, where lockers can be used to drop off parcels for multiple carriers, these lockers will be owned and operated exclusively by Evri.
Evri’s commitment to expanding its locker network follows a growing trend in consumer appetite for choice, with internal data showing a 343% increase in usage since the beginning of 2025, as well as a 19% increase in parcel diversions to lockers, as customers seek alternative delivery methods for when they may not be home.
And with Evri’s internal data for 2024/25 showing a 34% reduction in carbon emissions for ParcelShop and locker deliveries compared to a standard courier delivery, growing this network is a vital part of its sustainability roadmap.

It might be Friday 13th, but by partnering with Tesco and Motor Fuel Group to launch our lockers, we’re making sure that shoppers don’t leave it to luck when it comes to their parcel deliveries - reinforcing our commitment to a choice of quality delivery methods. “Evri’s own data shows that customers value convenience when it comes to deliveries, so with Tesco stores and Motor Fuel Group forecourts at the heart of so many communities, there will be easy access to Evri services alongside filling up or picking up essentials. “Together, these partnerships will provide shoppers with even more flexibility to send, receive, and return parcels in a way that suits them, reflecting how consumer behaviour is continuing to evolve.

Tesco: launch of Evri’s newest locker network
This new trial of Evri’s owned locker network is in partnership with one of the UK’s leading grocery retailers, Tesco. The pilot, begins this week and will see the first wave of Evri’s branded lockers rolled out at a small number of Tesco Extra and Superstore locations across the UK.
This new trial builds on Evri’s existing partnership with Tesco Clubcard, which already allows customers to collect Clubcard points for every parcel they send, no matter where they choose to drop it off.
For every £1 spent via Evri.com, customers earn one Clubcard point, which can then be converted into vouchers to use on their Tesco shop.
We’re constantly looking for ways to make the shopping trip even more convenient for our customers, and as part of a small locker hub partner trial across a small number of stores, where we are bringing a number of providers together, we’re pleased to introduce Evri lockers across a selected small number of stores.

Motor Fuel Group: 500 new locker locations
Evri is also partnering with Motor Fuel Group, the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, to install 500 new locker at petrol stations across the UK in a new nationwide partnership. The rollout begins in this month and will continue through spring.
By expanding its network into high-traffic MFG locations, Evri aims to make these options easier and more visible for customers across the country. Many of the new MFG sites have Morrisons Daily, Subway and Starbucks stores alongside dedicated Evri lockers, giving millions of shoppers the opportunity to send, receive and return parcels while filling up, grabbing a coffee, or picking up essentials.
MFG’s nationwide presence provides major reach in both urban and rural communities. The collaboration with MFG will provide customers with access to Evri’s full range of services including parcel pick-up, drop-off and returns. All lockers will have print-at-locker functionality to print a self-adhesive label, enabling quick parcel returns.
With the rollout of Evri’s lockers across 500 Motor Fuel Group sites, this new partnership brings together two brands focused on everyday convenience. Together we’re able to give customers greater flexibility to send, collect and return parcels as part of their regular routines, while enhancing the role our forecourts play in local communities and adding real value for our retail partners.
