You should also be aware that China is home to several different regions, many of which also observe their own local holidays and could increase delivery times further.

How to send to a parcel to China

You have three options with Evri when sending a parcel to China from the UK:

You can book a spot in any of our secure and local automated Lockers online. When you arrive, scan your barcode and drop your parcel off. Our Couriers will collect it asap and send it on its way from there.

We offer Courier collection straight from your door for all international parcels. Simply arrange for a Courier to collect your parcel directly from your home or office at a time that suits you and we’ll then alert you with a 1-hour collection slot on that day for pick-up.

What you can and can’t send to China

There are lots of things you can send to China with Evri, but there are a few limitations to consider before booking your parcel. You can find the full list of what you can and can’t send on our prohibited items list.

You should also follow the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and the UK Civil Aviation Authority guides for the latest restrictions for sending packages to China via air.

How to format an address when sending to China

When you send a parcel to China, you'll need to follow the correct address structure to ensure we can deliver it to its destination. You should lay your parcel address details out in the following format:

  • The recipient’s name
  • The property number and street name
  • The postcode and province in capitals
  • The country name in capitals

For example:

Alternatively, if you’re writing your address in Chinese, then you should enter these details in reverse order. But don’t worry, as long as you have the address information above, our automated address tool will do all the work for you and produce a label for your parcel in the right format.
