How to format an address when sending to China
When you send a parcel to China, you'll need to follow the correct address structure to ensure we can deliver it to its destination. You should lay your parcel address details out in the following format:
- The recipient’s name
- The property number and street name
- The postcode and province in capitals
- The country name in capitals
For example:
Mr J. Bloggs
1298 Yong An Road
100050 BEIJING
CHINA
Alternatively, if you’re writing your address in Chinese, then you should enter these details in reverse order. But don’t worry, as long as you have the address information above, our automated address tool will do all the work for you and produce a label for your parcel in the right format.
