Postage to Romania with Evri

At over 1,000 miles from the UK, parcels to Romania have a long way to travel. That’s why you need a courier you can rely on to get them to this timeless and traditional country safely.

With Evri, you can send a parcel to Romania from the UK in 9-10 days. Plus, you’ll get full tracking included as standard, so you can keep track of your items throughout their journey.

If you sold your items using an online marketplace like Amazon, eBay or Etsy, you should have an IOSS number on your invoice. This informs our couriers that you’ve already paid customs charges, so you’ll need to include it on your postage label. That way, we can get your items to their destination ASAP.

If you haven’t got an IOSS number, we’ll still ship your parcel as normal, but the recipient will need to pay any local customs charges to stay compliant with post-Brexit customs laws.

Address format for shipping to Romania

There are several differences when writing an address on a parcel to Romania compared to a UK address.

You’ll need to use the following format:

  • Recipient name
  • Street name and house number
  • Postcode followed by the village and town
  • County or sector
  • ROMANIA

For example:

Mr J. Bloggs

Str. Florilor 35

012345 Bucuresti

Sector 1

ROMANIA

You should also include the block, entrance, floor and/or apartment on the second line if necessary.

But don’t worry, all you need to do is enter the right address information at checkout and we’ll make sure it’s formatted correctly when you print your label.
