Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell series of video games. Conviction will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal (developers of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the 6th generation versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent) and published by Ubisoft.
The game was originally going to be released globally on November 16, 2007, but has been the subject of several lengthy delays, the most recent of which pushed the game's release date back to 30th June 2009.
