"Being with You" is a song recorded by Smokey Robinson and is the title-track from his 1981 album, Being with You (album).
The song spent five weeks at number one on the Hot Soul Singles chart during the the Spring of 1981 and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart behind "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes, his highest charting solo hit on the pop charts. The song was a number one hit in the UK for two weeks in June 1981, becoming Robinson's second UK #1 single and his first as a solo artist. It would mark his last appearance on the UK Singles Chart.
