Stephanie Birkitt (born January 7, 1975) is an assistant to David Letterman on The Late Show with David Letterman. Birkitt makes occasional appearances on the show, most recently as "Vickie", delivering prizes during audience participation segments and chatting with "Mr. Carney" (Letterman).
Although "Vickie" is usually treated as a character, earlier appearances by Birkitt often featured Letterman referring to her by various nicknames such as "Smitty," "Kitty," "Monty," "Gunter," and "Dutch." Her comedic style on the show has a dadaist bent.
