Mark Richt (born February 18, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska) is the current head coach of the University of Georgia Bulldogs football team. His previous affiliations were with Florida State University as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, and also with East Carolina University. Currently in his ninth season at Georgia, Richt is the longest-tenured active head football coach in the Southeastern Conference, one year ahead of Vanderbilt head coach Bobby Johnson.
