Liezel Huber (born August 21, 1976 in Durban) is a tennis player from South Africa who competes for and resides in the United States. Huber has won the women's doubles title in Wimbledon in 2005 and the Australian Open in 2007 with partner Cara Black. As of November 12, 2007, she is the co-World No. 1 in Doubles with Cara Black.
In 2005, Huber started a foundation, to raise money and gather basic supplies to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
In July 2007, it was revealed that Huber had been sworn in as a U.S. citizen in an expedited process, so that she could she could win the 2008 Beijing Olympics in doubles, partnering former world number 1 (both in singles and doubles) Lindsay Davenport but she lost in the quarters.
