Lance Diamond is a locally famous lounge singer and radio personality in Buffalo, NY. He can be heard on Saturday nights at the Elmwood Lounge, located in Buffalo on Elmwood Avenue. Mr. Diamond Has performed at Nekter Martini Bar and Grille, on Sunday evenings during the Summer also on Elmwood.
Diamond, together with his band the 24 Karat Diamond Band, play many classic rock and disco-era songs. He often calls himself the "Love Doctor," getting the name from his #1 radio show, Saturday Night Fever which he hosts every Saturday night from 6pm-12mid on 96.1 WJYE featuring love music. HE LOVES TO WATCH HIS LANGUAGE!
Lance Diamond has played with the Goo Goo Dolls live on many occasions, as well as recording with them on the tracks "Down On The Corner", "Never Take The Place of Your Man", "My Girl", "Do You Believe", and "Bitch" (Rolling Stones cover). Diamond and the Goo Goo Dolls performed "Bitch" on the MTV special "No Alternative" in 1993.
