  One month after their historic victory over Austria, the the Faroes travelled to Copenhagen to meet their Danish "Big Brother". Almost 40.000 people gathered at the old Idrættsparken stadium and about 5.000 Faroese supporters among them. The Danes were at full strengh with Laudrup brothers, Flemming Povlsen and Peter Schmeichel all in the team. It is interesting to notice that the game against the Faroes was the start of that unbeleivable Euro-92 campain for Richard Møller Nielsen's Denmark, which culminated with their triumph in the final in Gothenburg almost two years later.
