WNYS-TV

WNYS-TV is the MyNetworkTV-affiliated television station for Central New York that is licensed to Syracuse. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 44 from a transmitter in LaFayette. The station can also be seen on Time Warner channel 7 and in high definition on digital channel 877. Locally-owned, WNYS is operated through a local marketing agreement (LMA) by the Sinclair Broadcast Group as sister to Fox affiliate WSYT. The two stations share studios on James Street (NY 290) in Syracuse northeast of downtown and the I-690/I-81 interchange.
