More on Kingdom of Hawaii
Description from Wikipedia:
The Kingdom of Hawaii was established during the years 1795 to 1810 with the subjugation of the smaller independent chiefdoms of Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lānai, Kauai and Niihau by the chiefdom of Hawaii (or the "Big Island") into one unified government. It lost its independence to an armed revolt led by Euro-American residents in 1893, and was soon annexed to the United States in 1898.
