The 1997 National Football League Draft was held on April 19–20, 1997 and was notable for its offensive tackles. The first overall selection was Orlando Pace, who has appeared in seven consecutive Pro Bowls from 2000-2006. Walter Jones was taken 6th overall, and has made six consecutive Pro Bowls from 2002-2007. Tarik Glenn was selected 19th overall and has been named to three Pro Bowls as well.
