Donate items to Scope at over 10,000 ParcelShops or Lockers

We’re partnering with disability equality charity Scope to help them raise funds to support disabled people and their families. Donating just one quality pre-loved item can help Scope fund a vital helpline call for a disabled person.

You can donate women's or men's clothing, homeware that no longer matches your style or clothing and toys that your kids have grown out of. Your pre-loved treasures deserve to be re-loved and do good.

From the 15th to 28th September, our ParcelShops and Lockers will be open to receive your donations sending them straight to Scope to help them raise vital funds to support disabled people and their families.

How your donation will help Scope

Scope is a charity dedicated to creating an equal future with disabled people.

Donating just one quality item can help fund a vital call to Scope’s helpline from a disabled person, offering help and support when it’s needed most.

Your donation helps Scope provide essential information and advice to disabled people and their families. Last year alone, Scope supported over 35,000 people through their helpline. But right now, 1 in every 4 calls goes unanswered.

It costs nearly £1 a minute to run Scope's helpline. An average bag of donations (worth around £15) funds a 15-minute call, connecting a disabled person or family member with one of Scope's specially trained advisers.

Every donation matters and it’s now simple to Send to Scope with Evri.

If you or a family member is disabled the Scope helpline is here for you. Scope offers practical advice and emotional support whenever you need it.  0808 800 3333

More about Evri's partnership with Scope

In a partnership, which will last at least three years, Scope will help us on our journey to become the most accessible parcel delivery company in the UK. We at Evri are delighted with the things we’ve already achieved so far in our first year of partnership:

  • We have fundraised more than ever before, for Scope. We surpassed our initial £125,000 commitment, reaching a £150,000 milestone within the first few months.
  • We have launched doorstep accessibility preferences - you can find more information below.
  • We have supported campaigns including Scope's carol concert, the incredible Scope Awards in May and Disability Pride Month in July.
  • We are driving awareness of Scope on our electric fleet, ParcelShop device screens, internal desktop backgrounds and more.
  • We launched a quarterly listening session named the Evri Body Collective, and an insight survey with colleagues, to gain a deeper understanding from people with lived-experience of disability.
  • We have reviewed our policies to ensure best practice and we have started to roll out accessibility training for colleagues.

Together with Scope, we’re on the journey to make Evri accessible for everyone.

Delivering to disabled consumers: doorstep instructions

Aside from Evri supporting Scope with postal donations, we’re already making it easier for people to use our services. If you've got accessibility preferences, you can select a number of doorstep options to give your courier instructions for a successful and comfortable delivery. Follow the steps below for instructions on how to set your accessibility preferences.

Step 1

To begin setting your accessibility preferences, click the link we sent you in your ‘out for delivery’ email notification, or download the Evri app, click more and head to the preferences section.

Step 2

Select one of three options; give me more time to get to the door, ring my doorbell instead of knocking or don’t block my doorway with a parcel.

Step 3

Confirm by clicking Update delivery – that’s it!
