Ownership of a building/lease, a right to work in the UK, and a valid DBS check.
It is dependent upon the size of your Delivery Unit, the volume of parcels processed and any other services that you offer. Details of potential earnings will be discussed at the interview stage of the process.
As an Evri Business Partner, you can start off providing a parcel sortation solution in your warehouse unit and once you feel ready you can expand into final mile deliveries, running your team of drivers, delivering our light and large parcel traffic. SME and ParcelShop van routes could also be an option, subject to location and availability.
You would partner with Evri on a self-employed basis, which means that you would be responsible for your own tax and insurance contributions.
You would be required to use your vehicle to deliver parcels, however, Evri is always looking at options to improve our partnership and the ability to lease vehicles from us may be something we introduce in the future.
We will provide all handheld scanning devices and charging units as well as stationery that couriers require as part of the delivery process.
Our pay cycle is monthly, you will receive your pay invoice on the first Thursday of each month and money paid into your bank account around the 15th of every month.
When running your Delivery Unit, you will need to have public liability insurance.
Our team of Delivery Unit Managers are always on hand to answer any questions that you have.
As a responsible business owner, it is in your best interest to ensure that drivers are eligible to work in the UK and are a suitable character to work for your business.
We would complete a right-to-work check on you before contract signing. We would also complete a basic credit check to ensure that you have a viable business operation. Finally, we would require you to submit details and copy of a clear, valid DBS check carried out within the last 3 months.
