  • £28,000 raised for disability equality charity Scope, funding almost 2,000 calls to Scope’s helpline and bringing overall total to more than £188,000
  • Evri is announced as headline sponsor of annual Scope Awards for second year
  • More than 100,000 people set accessibility preferences as Evri encourages anyone with preferences or needs to provide instructions to the carrier

Evri, the UK’s premier parcel delivery company, has kicked off its second year of partnership with disability equality charity Scope by raising £28,000 at a charity golf day attended by some of its top clients.

Evri’s fundraising efforts reinforce its commitment to supporting Scope for three years. The £28,000, raised through mulligans such as extra shots, and followed by an auction, could go towards funding almost 2,000 calls to Scope’s helpline.

There are 16 million disabled people in the UK and Scope’s free helpline is a lifeline giving guidance, advice and emotional support.  With the average call costing £15, every donation helps. This latest event brings Evri’s current total fundraising with Scope to over £188,000, following the announcement of its year-one total, and publishing its inaugural Social Impact Report.

Evri today announces it will be the headline sponsor of the annual Scope Awards, for the second year running. The award ceremony will take place in April 2026 to celebrate disability equality champions, amplify disabled voices and build a movement of change with disabled people.

Whilst Evri continues to fundraise, it also calls on anyone with a preference or accessibility need, to share instructions via its website or app. More than 100,000 customers have now shared accessibility specific preferences and millions more have shared other preferences requests. Customers can select doorstep options and give their courier instructions for a successful and comfortable delivery.

  • This can be done within the Evri App by following these instructions:
  • Step 1: Click ‘more’, ‘preferences’, then ‘accessibility instructions’
  • Step 2: Select one options which include give me more time to get to the door, ring my doorbell instead of knocking or don’t block my doorway with a parcel.
  • Step 3: Click ‘save’

Evri’s Social Impact Report, published in November 2025, also outlined Evri’s plans for year two, including expanded training, volunteering initiatives whilst launching new initiatives to make Evri a more accessible place to work for colleagues.

We’re delighted to start our second year of partnership with Scope by fundraising £28,000, but we’re just getting started. Over the next few years and beyond, we’re dedicated to ensuring Evri serves all our communities and is an amazing place to work for all.

Evri is proud to sponsor the Scope Awards for the second year running, supporting our commitment to disability equality, the vital work Scope does across the UK, and building on a fantastic first year supporting Scope, during which we donated over £160,000.  Being involved in these awards is personal to me. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at 26, which helped make sense of the challenges I’d faced at school and earlier in my career. Those experiences taught me to reassess my strengths and stay true to my values – even when it meant facing difficult situations.  Joining Evri was a turning point. I found a workplace that respects difference, recognises potential, and encourages people to bring their whole selves to work. That’s why I’m honoured to judge this year’s awards, celebrating the achievements of disabled people and allies who are driving real progress.

I’d like to thank our partners, Evri and their clients, for their wonderful generosity raising £28,000 in their recent golf day. This brings their fundraising total to over £188,000 and the impact of this cannot be underestimated. These vital funds will go a long way in helping us create a society where disabled people have equal opportunities and support. They’re also essential to help us provide services, such as our free helpline, that empower and provide a lifeline for many disabled people.

Sammi Skelding, Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy at disability equality charity Scope
