Last domestic postal dates for Christmas 2020

This Christmas we might not be able to get together with as many of our friends and family as we’d like, but we can still let them know we’re thinking of them.

And even though the festivities will clearly look a little bit different in 2020, at least one tradition is certain: the last posting dates for Christmas.

Save the dates

To make sure presents are delivered in time for the big day, Yule need to make a note of these cut-off dates for Christmas postal deliveries.

Saturday 19 December

For parcels being collected by a Hermes courier

Monday 21 December (noon)

For parcels being dropped off at a ParcelShop, being sent using our standard service

Tuesday 22 December (noon)

For parcels being dropped off at a ParcelShop, being sent using our Next Day service

Use the app

We recommend downloading our app. It’s the quickest and easiest way to keep everyone in the loop about when your parcel will arrive.

Make it personal

To personalise the parcel experience further and to really let people know we’re thinking of them, you can use Hermes Play via the app. This exciting feature lets you send a video message with your parcel – perfect for spreading some festive cheer if you can’t be with loved ones in person.

There’s still plenty of time to get creative, so dig out the old Santa hat, get the Christmas jumper on, raise a glass and send a big virtual hug with your presents.
