HGV Driver Training Programme
Requirements – You will need to hold a Cat B Licence and be able to drive a car and have no medical conditions that will stop you from driving an HGV vehicle.
Apply for a Driver to HGV vacancy
You will be invited for an interview and receive a driving assessment
Start with Evri as a Van Driver while you train for the first 6 months
We will pay for you to complete a medical
You will need to apply for your provisional HGV Licence
Study and sit your theory test
1 week Practical training with your test at the end of the week
You now have your Licence and will progress to a Cat C Driver role
Complete your CPC Training
If you then want to progress we will fund you to do your Cat C+E Licence

Van driving at Evri
At Evri, our Van Drivers are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll deliver fantastic customer service and keep our operations running smoothly. Playing a key role in making sure our customers’ parcels are where they need to be when they need to be there. Delivering parcels on a multi-drop basis to our Parcel Shop and Smart Locker network.
The role is consistent. Driving the same routes. Spending time in your van, and working in your community. It’s also different. Building relationships with our customers, having interesting conversations. Working flexibility, taking responsibility for your own day and the decisions you make out on the road.

HGV driving at Evri
At Evri, our HGV drivers are an essential part of our business. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly and in making sure our customers’ parcels are where they need to be when they need to be there. Delivering parcels on a multi-drop basis to our distribution units.
The role is consistent. It’s familiar. Delivering parcels safely and efficiently. And it’s different. It’s flexible. Shorter, local routes. It’s balanced, sharing the load between driving and physical work. And you take autonomy for your own routes. Problem-solve. Make the best decisions for the business and our customers. We offer the training and support you’ll need to get started and keep you safe out on the road with a thorough induction process.
