Spectacular! is a Nickelodeon original movie. It stars Nolan Gerard Funk, Tammin Sursok, Victoria Justice and Simon Curtis. The film was filmed in Canada, and premiered on February 16, 2009. The soundtrack was released on February 3, 2009.
A 2-track EP of the soundtrack is already available on iTunes. MTV.com's The Leak, a part of the site where soundtracks are on full stream before they are released, added the soundtrack on January 29, 2009. This was done for the soundtrack for MTV's movie-musical, The American Mall, as well.
During the movie, the Kids' Choice Awards 2009 Host was announced and will be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
To help promote the film, two of its songs -- "Don't Tell Me" and "Break My Heart", both performed by Funk -- have been released as downloadable content for the popular music/rhythm game Rock Band, as well as the DVD release having a redemption code that lets players download the songs for free.
A sequel is already in negotiations. A poll is currently being done on the official website asking viewers if they will watch the sequel. Ratings wise, Spectacular! performed well with 3.7 million viewers during its premiere, although it was up against Disney Channel's new Original Movie Dadnapped, which had higher numbers at 4.6 million viewers. ==Plot==
