Elephunk is the third album by the Black Eyed Peas, released in 2003. It was their first commercially-successful album, selling over 4,040,000 copies worldwide, and their first album to feature their new female vocalist, Stacy Ferguson (a.k.a. Fergie). Singles released from Elephunk included "Where Is the Love?", "Shut Up", "Hey Mama" and "Let's Get It Started". Many of its songs became popular through being featured in advertisements. The album title, Elephunk, is a portmanteau of elephant and funk and so far has sold almost 8 million units worldwide.
