Description from Wikipedia:
Cocaine Rodeo is the debut album released by Mondo Generator on the Southern Lord label in 2000. It was compiled between material Nick Oliveri had recorded with an Austin, Texas punk band; and his ex-Kyuss bandmates. The material was shelved for three years because of Oliveri's full-time commitment to the Queens Of The Stone Age. Several of the songs were played by the band, building up hype before the eventual release of the album.
The impromptu Kyuss reunion was only made by possible by inviting each member separately to the studio without any knowledge of who they were playing with. Nick Oliveri organized this in secret in early 1997. The epic song "Simple Exploding Man" features the reunion with all four original members and Kyuss producer Chris Goss contributing.
The American and European album versions feature 2 different bonus tracks.
