More on Almost Unreal
Description from Wikipedia:
"Almost Unreal" is a song performed by Swedish pop duo Roxette. The song featured on the soundtrack to the Super Mario Brothers soundtrack and was released as a single in 1993. It was written by Per Gessle.
"Almost Unreal" was a hit in many European countries, peaking at #7 on the UK Singles Chart, and also made the Top 20 in Australia. However, it only reached #94 in the US and became the duo's penultimate single to make the US Top 100 to date.
The song's inclusion on the Super Mario Bros. sound track angered Gessle as it was originally written for the Bette Midler film "Hocus Pocus", but was never used.
