A Day Without Rain is an album by Irish musician Enya, released in 2000 (see 2000 in music). It won the Grammy Award for "Best New Age Album" of 2002. It is best known for the song "Only Time" which became a major success in 2000, and again in 2001 when it became identified with the September 11, 2001 attacks through exhaustive media use. Although highly acclaimed by fans, the album attracted criticism for its short running time.
A Day Without Rain went on to become Enya's biggest selling release of her career, moving more than 15 million copies and it was named 2001's Top-Selling Album. After its release, Enya was also named the best-selling female artist in the world for 2001.
