Owen Coyle (born 14 July 1966 in Paisley) is an association football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Burnley F.C.
Coyle began his career at Dumbarton and played for a number of Scottish teams along with a spell at Bolton Wanderers. Upon retiring from playing he managed Falkirk and St. Johnstone before heading to Football League Championship side Burnley. In his first full season in charge, Burnley won promotion to the Premier League.
Born in Scotland and self-identifying as Scottish, Coyle was capped once for the Republic of Ireland due to his Irish ancestry.
