More on Michael Goldfarb
Description from Wikipedia:
Michael Goldfarb is the official blogger for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, a campaign spokesman, as well as McCain's deputy communcations director. He was previously online editor for The Weekly Standard, which he took a leave of absence from to work on the campaign. While at The Weekly Standard, he was the first to raise doubts about the veracity of Scott Beauchamp's then-anonymous Iraq reporting for The New Republic and played a prominent role in the controversy that followed. He has a BA in History from Princeton University. As McCain's blogger, Goldfarb attracted some online attention and criticism for two posts ridiculing liberal bloggers as basement-dwelling Dungeons and Dragons players. The game's manufacturer, Wizards of the Coast, and its parent company Hasbro sent him letters in protest. After the first post Goldfarb wrote an apology, ending with a tongue-in-cheek promise that the McCain campaign was "committed to increasing the strength, constitution, dexterity, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma scores of every American."
