Emigdio Preciado, Jr. (born August 19, 1969 or August 19, 1968 or September 19, 1969) is wanted for opening fire on two sheriff's deputies in Los Angeles, California on September 5, 2000, seriously injuring one of them. He was believed to be heading to a gang-related drive-by shooting at the time.
On March 14, 2007 he was named by the FBI as the 485th fugitive to be placed on the Ten Most Wanted list. He is also on the America's Most Wanted "Dirty Dozen" list of that show's most notorious fugitives. The story of his crime has been reviewed several times on the show. There was a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his capture being offered by the FBI, but it has been increased to $200,000.
Preciado was last seen two years ago in the Guadalajara, Mexico, and it is alleged that his family members could be helping him evade authorities.
