Anthony Chun-Hui Ha (born January 6, 1983) is an American journalist (currently writing for the venture capital blog VentureBeat) and science fiction writer. While studying at Stanford University, he won the Dell Magazine Award for undergraduate science fiction writing in 2004 and 2005, the only entrant in the history of the contest to receive top honors twice. Before joining VentureBeat in 2008, Ha previously worked as a local government reporter for the Hollister Free Lance and managing editor of news at the Stanford Daily. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he currently lives in San Francisco with the aid of a caretaker.
