More on Radar Group
Description from Wikipedia:
Radar Group is a video and computer game company. It is neither a publisher nor a development studio, but rather a brand creation and portfolio management company. It co-creates original intellectual property (IP), designed from the ground up, working with independent developer studios and funding its pre-production. The IP is created in a way that it is ready to make it easily viable for cross-media monetization. The IP ownership is co-owned by Radar and the development studio.
The company is founded by established gaming industry members, such as Scott Miller from 3D Realms, who is Radar's Chief Creative Officer. Radar is already producing Prey 2, the sequel to the acclaimed game Prey.
Part of the goals of the company is to enable the IP to cross-over to different media, such as films. Radar has partnered with Depth Entertainment in order to get help with the game-to-film transitions. Depth Entertainment had previously helped with the film adaptation of the Remedy game Max Payne, which was produced in conjunction with 20th Century Fox.
