Queen of the South Football Club is a Scottish professional football club founded in 1919 and located in Dumfries in south-west Scotland. They currently play in the Scottish First Division, the second tier of Scottish football.
Officially nicknamed The Doonhamers, but usually referred to as Queens and sometimes as QoS (as also listed on the club badge), they have played their entire existence based at Palmerston Park on Terregles Street.
