Jackson Health System is located in Miami, Florida and is the most comprehensive provider of health care services for both adults and children in South Florida. Jackson Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system that consists of Jackson Memorial Hospital, which is its centerpiece, Jackson South Community Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center and the Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital. In addition to these hospitals, Jackson Health System also has 12 primary care centers as well as two primary care vans, several school-based clinics that serve various elementary, middle and high schools, two long-term care nursing facilities and finally, many mental health facilities.
Jackson Memorial Hospital is consistently ranked in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Hospitals” among the top 50. Jackson Memorial Hospital is distinguished among some the nation’s best medical facilities and in 2006, it received recognition in more specialties than any other South Florida hospital and was the only hospital honored in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
