Alex Nielsen

The Danish Cup (Landspokalturneringen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. Ekstra Bladet is the main sponsor of the cup, and the official name of the tournament is Ekstra Bladet Cup.
The winner will qualify for the UEFA Cup tournament the following year, where they will enter in the 1st qualifying round.
The latest edition, Danish Cup 2007-08, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby IF, beating Superliga-side Esbjerg fB 3-2 on May 1, 2008 at Parken Stadium.
