More on Mizuno Classic
Description from Wikipedia:
The Mizuno Classic is an annual golf tournament for professional female golfers, jointly sanctioned by the two richest women's professional tours—the U.S. LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. It has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations in Japan, and is typically held in early November. For the last several years, it has been the final full-field event in each (U.S.) LPGA Tour season. Since 2006, the remaining two tournaments have consisted of one limited-field event (the Tournament of Champions through 2007, and the Lorena Ochoa Invitational starting in 2008) and that tour's playoff final, the Stanford Financial Tour Championship.
The tournament has had various names and sponsors throughout its history. Its current title sponsor is Mizuno, a Japanese sports equipment and sportswear company.
Annika Sörenstam won the event five times in a row, 2001 to 2005.
